Description
Pashmina wool comes from the Pashmina Goats who roam on the Himalayan Mountains from Mongolia and China. The herds of goats live at a very high altitude: 14,000 feet in the Himalayans so in the Springtime, herders comb the bottom layer of wool from the goat which is 10 times warmer than ordinary wool.
The total amount of wool gathered represents only 0.5% of all the wool harvested in the world.
